In the morning of June 19, 2025, a delegation led by Secretary-General Che Changbo of the China Mining Association(CMA) visited the Mongolian Embassy in China and held friendly talks with Commercial Counselor Ts. Tumenbayar. The two sides communicated on matters including the participation of the Mongolian delegation in the 2025 (27th) China Mining Conference and Exhibition and CMA’s participation in the "2025 Mining Week" International Forum and "MinePro2025" Mining Exhibition in Mongolia.
Secretary-General Che Changbo first expressed gratitude to the Mongolian Embassy in China for its strong support for the China Mining Conference and Exhibition and sincerely invited Mongolian diplomatic envoys in China and leaders of mining authorities to attend this year’s Conference. He noted that the Conference mainly includes forum sessions, mining right promotion, and exhibitions of mining engineering machinery and equipment. China and Mongolia have a solid foundation and broad potential for cooperation in the mining sector. Such cooperation not only meets the strong demand for economic complementarity between the two countries but also harbors opportunities for technological sharing and collaborative industrial chain development. Meanwhile, the CMA will actively organize a Chinese delegation to participate in the "2025 Mining Week" International Forum and "MinePro2025" Mining Exhibition to be held in Ulaanbaatar in September, expecting to further deepen all-round cooperation in the mining field between the two countries.
Counselor Ts. Tumenbayar warmly welcomed the visit of Secretary-General Che Changbo and his delegation. He stated that the new Mongolian government attaches great importance to mining cooperation between Mongolia and China. Currently, Mongolia is fully advancing the construction of railway infrastructure to enhance cross-border transportation efficiency, injecting strong transport capacity support into Mongolia-China mining trade. The government will also continue to optimize the business environment to promote deeper and broader cooperation between mining enterprises of the two countries. The Mongolian Embassy in China will convey CMA’s sincere invitation to attend 2025 (27th) China Mining Conference and Exhibition to the heads of domestic mining departments and participate in important activities including the opening ceremony of the Conference. He expressed that the Mongolian Embassy is willing to support the Chinese delegation in participating as the Guest of Honor in the "2025 Mining Week" International Forum and "MinePro2025" Mining Exhibition in Mongolia, deepen cooperation between Mongolia and China in exploration rights, mining rights, and rare metals, and promote practical mining cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
